This self-assessment is broken down into three steps. Please rate your current level of knowledge or skill for each statement based on your role (Coach, Volunteer, Staff, or Board Member) using the scale below.

Understanding Your Report & Scoring

The Targeted Next Steps Pathway is determined by your average score across the five statements in each competency section. The system prioritizes immediate training needs first.

Section Score Thresholds

Score Range	Descriptor	Interpretation
Average ≤ 2.5	Critical Gap	Indicates a severe gap, scoring primarily in the Beginner (1) or Developing (2) range. Immediate intervention is required.
Average ≥ 3.3	High Proficiency	Requires consistently scoring in the Competent (3) to Proficient (4) range. This is the threshold to reach Champion Status.

Pathway Determination Logic

Foundational Training (Step 1): Highlighted if your Foundational Knowledge average is ≤ 2.5. This ensures basic literacy in DEIB concepts is addressed first.
Practical Skill-Building (Step 2): Highlighted if you passed Step 1 (Foundational Knowledge > 2.5) but failed to achieve ≥ 3.3 in all three sections. You know the theory but need help applying the skills consistently.
Champion Status (Step 3): Highlighted only if ALL THREE section averages (Foundational, Design, AND Delivery) are ≥ 3.3. You demonstrate consistent, high-level competency across the board.
